Huck learned to wind yarn

then he brings it to me when he's finished.

I haven't knit a sock since before Christmas. Suddenly, the urge has returned. This is Confetti yarn . The way it changes colors so fast, makes it really look like confetti. With my short attention span, this is really entertaining me!

I was trying a lace sock pattern, for the last two days. And I quit. I have a problem with YO's at the end of the sock needle. They make me nervous. Just hanging there, waiting to fall off and ruin my count. Plus, this yarn doesnt' lend itself to lace. It is crazy enough without complicating it.

I planted all geraniums by the back porch this year. Between confetti yarn and flowers, can you see I'm starved for colors after our long grey winter in Chicago?

What is your garden colorway this year?

I'll talk to you in the comments. :)

Oh, I just love Huck!!!!! He's super adorable, poses for great pictures, and winds perfect balls of yarn too. He's my hero!
That Huck, he is not only handsome but talented as well, isn't he?

I love the confetti yarn. I am making a pair of socks out a Regia Bamboo that has a confetti like quality, the color changes about every 1 1/2 inches.

The theme in my flowerbeds right now is "grass and weeds" I 'm trying to decide if I want to do something or just stick with that theme, it's pretty low maintenance. ;)

Please send Huck over here to teach my dogs to do that. Forget man's best friend--Huck is a knitter's best friend!

Huck is so huggable! And so smart too!! He's super dog. I'd love to see your geraniums. Not many flowering plants do well in the Texas heat so I am all herbs this year. The problem is they grow so fast I can't use them all. I have herbs drying everywhere.

Huck looks so cute with that yarn ball balanced on his nose! He really is a love, isn't he?!!! Pretty yarn, too!

If Spike had that skein around his neck, it would be in a million knots in seconds! :D

Huck says WOOF to you all.

Katherine, what herb dries the best? Im a huge rosemary fan. Maybe I should grow some here! Is it hard to grow? What kind of soil/sun etc?

Huck is such a sweet boy. We have a new golden puppy who is 10 weeks old today. We got her 3 weeks ago and she has grown so much. Huck might like a much younger girl !

My garden is all herbs. But I'm hoping I'll be able to actually use some of them.

As for YO's at the ends of needles, you can always pick up a stitch on the next round if you want.
