Working on the contest...

Now I'm getting excited to have winners. I think I'm going to put all the names into a plastic empty milk jug. I'll shake it until one falls out. That will be how the winners get chosen. Is that as good as number generator. ?
I think it is going to have to be. I'm not too technical here at Irisheyes.
I don't use number generator.
I don't use a comment counter.
I don't have an i-pod (see my Barbie radio/head phones)
I have a cell phone, but don't have occasion to use it much.

SO we'll do a good old fashioned draw of the winners. Maybe I'll use the good old fashioned crock pot that day too.

That's tissue holder number 2, in the image. Leftover Koigu, too precious to leave unused.

I hear Mars may acquire the Tribune and the Cubs. Hmmmmm, chocolate and the Cubs. I like this combo. Candy for everyone.

I am not too tecnical either, anyway that is what my 14 year old son tells me. I forget the cell phone more often than not.

Love the tissue box cover

And I think chocolate makes just about anything better.... right.

If you don't have one of those little bingo number cages, a milk jug it definitely the way to go.
Chocolate makes everything better.

I think the milk jug is the perfect way to go.

Milk jug sounds good to me. I used 6 whole minutes on my cell phone last month. I wouldn't know what to do with an i-pod if I had one.

OK - I give up. What is the mustard container for?

The milk jug or a nice large bowl (or crock pot) is the way to go. Write my name on a pretty piece of colored paper. Write all other name on white scraps. Pick the colored slip out - oooh - that's a great plan :-)

The tissue holders do look great. How much yarn does it take?

LOL! I am curious...hehehe. You are building up the excitement.

Tomorrow is a holiday here, Queen's Day. Hope the sun will shine though. (Oh, Queen's Day is the day that the Dutch people celebrate the birthday of Queen Beatrix. She will visit the province Friesland tomorrow...)

Chocolate and the Cubs--I keep telling DH that we have no reason to be in Texas when life is so exciting in Chicago!!

Resist the cell phone and the Ipod. They will take over your life if you let them.

i was curious about the mustard as well. The packaging does look a bit retro... hmmm.... I have made friends with my cell (ok blackberry) we have no home phone any longer just cells, (i love this) and my phone also holds my work schedule, so very handy everything in one small spot! (although yes i did rebell, especially towards digital cameras, now i love them!)

Nothing wrong with being old school! Sometimes all these gadgets just get in the way.

I like your tissue cover, is the mustard there for size comparison?

I have a contest going on my blog too, not sure how I am going to choose the winner, I have gotten so many good responses. Maybe I will hold it up for a vote with my kids. :D

I am curious about the mustard, too... :) I chose the winner for my recent contest by putting the names in a cup (there were less than 10). A milk jug sounds great, especially since you have a lot more names!!

I am trying to be very good about eating healthy these days, and chocolate is too big of a temptation. I donated money at the local supermarket for their latest charity fundraiser, for cancer research. Each time you donate a dollar, you get a scratch-off ticket. Every ticket wins a free product, and has a chance for a much bigger prize as well (up to $10,000 total). Today's card entitled me to a free large Dove bar!!! I gave it to the cashier, before I was tempted to claim the decadent prize! It would never have survived the car ride home, LOL!

Yup, milk jug is perfect. Sometimes the "old-fashioned" is so much better. :) But you do need an iPod - so them you can listen to knitting podcasts!!
Milk Jug is a great Idea:)Hugs Darcy
