Wrist/arm fatigue

First of all, if anyone realizes I am not blogging after today, please make sure someone checks me for a malted milk egg overdose.

Okay, that said, I am going to try rotating my knitting projects today. Nonni blanket is a joy, but I cannot be solely devoted to her. The bunny brought me a little dishcloth yarn....and I had to cast right on yesterday. Then there is this blanket I am making as a gift.

Some of you may recall the failed log cabin blanket I made last summer with fixation. It ended up with a big bump in it because fixation stretches and my pickups at each edge were a problem. Well, I simply have to use this yarn anyhow. I am using the remaining fixation to work on this little blanket. Very little blanket. I've doubled the fixation in an effort to use the yarn up more quickly. However, it is very very hard on my hands and arms.

So I hear the way to keep on going, is to rotate projects. I'll let you know how it goes. I plan to work on all 3 today even if I only get an hour to knit. (ha....it's winter...I'll get more than an hour in, even though sweet husband is busy finishing painting the kitchen the lovely blue you see behind the blankie.

the blue is lovely, I tend to rotate project too, until I see the finish line approaching on one and then I beeline thru it, I have been having wrist fatigue lately too, especially with the heavier yarns

You changed the look of your blog. Have I been out of touch that long? And perhaps rotating projects would do me good, as I still have some leftover computer tendonitis. Can't hurt, anyways.

PAT! You are the first to notice that I changed the look Thanks. I wanted it more white so it was readable. I think my simple images that I love to share look better against a white backround. I notice Donna at Quiet Life has a white backround and I love it.

The google ad is new as well. I decided I might as well, as blogspot has been free to me from google all along.

Try the rotating! If not we'll have to have long hand massages to be really well!

Ha ha, malted egg over-dose. Oh well, 'tis the season!! Be careful with your hands and wrists, and don't push yourself too hard. (Okay, nagging over!)

Love the blue color on your wall!
And your limericks made me smile this morning.

The blue wall color is perfect for spring - light and cheery! I love the colors in your blankie, too!

I think I need to rotate projects... That sounds like a great idea. Otherwise, Some get finished in no time, while others, begun with the same enthusiasm, languish in WIP purgatory forever!

Let's see if we can make it work! :)
Rotating projects should help a little. The colors sure are pretty!

I love the new blue walls--very pretty! What is it with Fixation? It makes my hands hurt too. I tried making socks with it and had to stop.
