Time is on my mind

On the subject of time:

It's time for me to be a Cub fan again. My mid-life crises with the Red Sox is over. I bleed Cubby blue and always will. The pizza box shows "Wrigleyville" on it's cover. Wrigely it is, Wrigley it will stay. I think the friendly confines will stand the test of time.

It's time I share my time saver : time boxing. Someone suggested this stategy for finding more time to knit. For me, it is about defining my time during the day. I feel less scattered if I decide to work on xyz during one hour and abc during the next. I am easily distracted and this keeps me on task a bit more.

It's time to comment about comments. I like to read your blogs and leave comments. If you've noticed I only use lower case, it is just a time saver for me. I usually have Fiona the bleached calico, on my lap and leaning on my right arm while I type. Shifting just makes me slow. so i hope you don't think i am rude, i am just time saving.

Time to go to work. :)

Now I know why we get along. I'm a Cubs fan too. So much so that my whole wedding is cubs themed. I met a man who is also a cubs fan but isn't from Chicago either!!

I like this idea of time boxing. I need to work on that. I get lost in the world of ravelry and blogs that it takes away from my knitting and Special K time. He's not liking this too much.

Have a great day at work!!

Summer to me is my mom in her Cub's Tank top weeding the garden and listening to the game on AM radio. I'm with you on that one!

I am a native New Yorker, so it will always be the Yankees for me...

I am used to reading blogs in lower case, so it doesn't phase me, but I feel obligated to type using caps when normally required. I also feel compelled to correct my typos and misspellings whenever I catch them, too. It's part of the obsessive/perfectionist streak in me, what can I say? LOL

Have a great Sunday, even if it's an hour shorter, it'll be light longer~! =)

I love your comments and never noticed that they, or your blog, were all lower case. Keep doing what you're doing--it's great!

I also LOVE Agostino's pizza!! (Drool) DS sends us a big box of them every year at Christmas. We and the Texas part of the family have them for Christmas Eve dinner.

Lovely to hear from you anytime and anyway:) No caps is fine with me - and most of my id's on forum tend to be in lc. I reckon its easier for me to remember them - especially if the site is case sensitive. Time boxing works for me too - if my chaotic family let me stick with it!

What a beautiful blanket - just perfect for snuggling. And, fingers crossed, your garden blooms as well this spring...
Gee I never noticed you didn't use caps. 'Fraid I do. Just because I do typing for a living. If I don't cap; it's a mistake ... I'm NOT a perfectionist, LOL.

Hey, I'm happy that people read my blog. And I love getting every comment I read. Otherwise, I might feel like I'm just talking inside my head and that would be boring, huh? BTW, I'm all for saving time ... especially if it's to add on to my knitting time. Happy knitting.
