Mineshaft colorway

I don't think I've quite captured the beauty I find in Lorna's Laces Mineshaft. I should have fussed over a perfect image. However, in keeping with my promise to continue with outdoor photos this winter.....I ran back inside.
The temp in chicago was 9 degrees. The windchill brought it to 5. degrees. Above zero of course.

Is this the beginnings of your family blanket/afghan?

BTW, my husband saw your photo and wants to know why you have it "laying in the dirt like that"? ;-)

Yes Kristie, you got it. It is the very start of the family throw. Our husbands say the darndest things eh ? I was going for the stone against mineshaft look. :)

So pretty.
To answer your question you asked on my blog...I can knit a pair of fingerless mitts in a weekend.

I like the "dirty" picture.
A family throw huh? Nice soothing color. Hope there isn't too many in the family fighting over it. Happy knitting!

Pat,

Where is your mind! hee hee hee

RHonda,
THe CATS will be fighting over it. I may place a hook on the wall so we can hang it to avoid it becoming the cat hair covered throw.
