Maybe I'll be a Weaver someday.......

Kimberly of Woven'nSpun was my picnic swap partner. I am amazed. She wove the scarf for me and also sent a skein in the incredible colorway you see. She dyed the yarn herself. Now, I do come from a line of basket weavers, the Hungarian side of course, but if she tells me she wove the beautiful project bag too, I'll fall over in my knitting rocker.

The picnic package had many other fun themed things, that I will share as I use them. Kimberly you outdid yourself. The colorway is my favorites all beautifully blended together. (Lynn will be jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love when Lynn is jealous..)

Maybe I'll learn to weave someday. I've been inspired.

Simply gorgeous! I've wanted to learn to weave too, but I'll have to stick with knitting for right now.

I am so glad that you liked everything. It was a hard but fun theme and I enjoyed every bit of it. I did not weave the bag, I must admit, but it really spoke to me for your picnic. And to answer Bernadette, I do indeed knit. Right now we are on vacation and "the sock" is on tour. It's having loads of fun and has had several more interesting adventures. :)
