The Happy Meal TOY?

Did you want the McBarbie Doll or the McYarn? Today's guest blogger is from my local McDonald's. There was a long line behind me, so he quickly complied.

The yarn is a lovely purple green mohair from Al's July swap partner Mo. She is also a jewelery designer. I need to post her blog name for you all. She sent Al some lovely bracelets.

I'm trying for the big 500 tomorrow. Thanks to all who have entered the contest. JILL, Al's buddy, I'm waiting for you, you lurker you.

Oh, that is too funny! I think that if I asked the kids at my local McDonald's to hold some yarn so I could photgraph them, they'd probably shut the drive through window and turn off the lights! Hooray for your McD guy and his sense of fun! Of course, if he really is giving out yarn, you are obligated to post the location of that McDonald's so that we can all plan road trips. ;-)

When I worked at McD's many years ago (for 7 years), I am not sure I would have wanted my photo on a blog! Horrible visor hair & no make up.

I want *That* in my happy meal, please!! Man, remember when there were the crazies trying to get the beanie baby toys at McD's? Can you imagine the wildness should they start offering nifty yarn with their meals?? I'd be there! I might only miss 5 out of 100 days. (just had to throw that in!!LOL!)

You're brave. I would have never asked my mcd's guy to pose with my yarn. :)

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. I'm Making Bunny Rabbits

  These are the one square bunnies .  They are a free pattern on Rave1ry.  I'm bunny making to force spring to come.  I'm a1so taking it easy on my hands again.  The med we tried did keep my hands from shaking, but it was a med for a med. and that's crazy town.  I can contro1 a hook much better than need1es.  It wi11 have to suffice for now.  I'm enjoying your b1ogs and your Spring.  This time of year I so want to 1ive in a southern state.  But this Spring is a new one for me and I'm going to find a way to 1ove it.   IT may have just gotten to 50.   Degrees.  I have to run.  There's very ear1y yardwork to do.   The birds have 1eft a rotten mess of sunf1ower she11s under the feeders.  I hope it is not frozen!  Have you been switching things up in your neck of the woods?   I haven't forgotten you, b1og pa1s.  I 1ove seeing you on Instagram .

Do You Smile When You Knit???

I am pretty sure I smile when I knit.  I'm going to think about that today when I pick up the baby blanket in progress.  I am also pretty sure I cry when I knit; well, not really.  I have shed some tears over the years but they were way back.  I surely scowl when I drop a stitch.   A time lapse of knitters' faces would be interesting enough .... Tank, aka Helo, is starting to smile around here.  Just look into those aqua eyes......they make me smile all the time. He is half Siamese and all gorgeous.
