Rocka My Soul in the Bosom of Abraham

Bosom Bosom Bosom. Everytime we sang that song in church or school, as a child, I had to explode in giggles. My Irish grandma used the word Bosom. I think she giggled when she said it too!

No laughing matter, however, that our sweet guest blogger is the mammogram nurse who agreed that RibbedTank should not fear the machine. As for me, it was quick and painless and talking about the blog helped with the akwardness!

Fun fact: the part of a dress or blouse that covers the breast is known as the bosom of the garment. How appropriate for RibbedTank to join me at the mammogram. May she cover them and protect them as well. If only she were pink!

Do you use the word bosom?
Please leave me your email or blog so I can thank you for your comment.

Even worse than just using the word bosom, to make it funnier (and yes, I realize incorrect), I've been often known to make it plural. My bosoms lead the way...

And in a completely unrelated note, I wish blogger would only use san serif fonts for the word verification. Can't tell you how often I've mis-typed those and I just don't think it's my fault!

Oh my gosh! That is so funny!!! I wouldn't mind laying my bosoms on that wonderful knitted goodness. Those things are sooooo cold, and here they charge you an extra (not covered by insurance) $5 to get it warm.
