Not your mother's crochet purse...

Jen at my LYS (Three Bags Full in Northbrook )created this incredible piece of art which happens to be a purse. It was shown to us at crochet a flower class for inspiration. I had to put it on the blog.

I love to be inspired by other knitters. I think it is one of the best reasons to jump around the knitting blogland.

Please leave me your email or blog so I can thank you for your comment.

That bag is so pretty and just perfect for spring. I agree - there is a ton of inspiration out there in Blogland. I can't imagine all of the great patterns and projects we'd miss out on if we didn't blog.

What a great color combination and design! It reminds me of "freeform" crochet. I would love to try "freeform" crochet (there was an article on it in a recent Interweave Knits magazine - their crochet issue for winter 2006, I think.) Funny thing is, without a pattern, I feel lost! LOL!!!
