No Fairy Tale ending

Alas, the young girl worked diligently on her Lacy Cardigan in Brown Sheep Cotton. Each sleeve was gently seamed to the bodice. The kind of crazy but harmless mother, revisited her crocheting text, and added the 3 row edge to the border. She learned she loved the look of the crab stitch.

Perhaps the mother loved the crab stitch because she became hooked, (pun intended) on the series WORLDS DEADLIEST CATCH. She was mesmerized by the fisherman who fish the Bering Sea for Alaskan King Crab, while she put her big Hungarian legs up on the recliner and crocheted.

Nonetheless, the sweater was finished, washed and dried and the beautiful young girl wore the garment for the first time. Instead of happily ever after, however, the girl was indeed disappointed. The cardigan had lied to her and was, indeed, to big for her to wear.

The kind of crazy mother insisted on photographing the sweater anyhow for her kind of crazy blog, and the disappointed young girl agreed because she knew Mother's Day was coming and she did want to help her mom get comments. So she gathered up her magic deaf Cat Radar, and took comfort in holding him by the blooming spring shrubs.

Perhaps the kind of crazy mother had instilled in the lovely young daughter, the belief that Happily Ever After is one's own job. Because that very day the young girl decided to investigate getting her Master Knitting Certification so that one day she would make a lacy cardigan that fit.....just right.

The very happy realistic end.

I like the story. And it's a beautiful sweater, anyways. The flowers look great, too. And what is a Master Knitting Certification, please?

The sweater,Radar and your daughter all look lovely in the photo. If your daughter really doesn't think he'll wear the sweater, perhaps it will make a lovely gift for someone?

That would be she'll, not he'll...

Sorry it turned out too big! It's really pretty. Is there anyone it fits that you can give it to? It would be sad to frog it all or to have it sit unworn for eternity.

The "kind of crazy mother" should be very proud of her "lovely young daughter". The sweater is very pretty. I'm sorry that she feels it is too big. Looks good in the photo. How wonderful that she wants to get her Master Knitting Certification! Love the story!!!
