Knitty cabled baby

Al's finished Knitty cabled baby sweater. We have this button phobia. She had adorable pewter rocking horse buttons, but we tend to sew buttons poorly. She finished this about a month ago and neither of us will touch the buttons. The baby shower for her new cousin, is in October, sew......

Al is cabling an adult sweater now. She had some time to knit over the long weekend, after her wisdom teeth were extracted. I'll post her progress soon. She's a busy senior now, so her blog contributions will be photos I take of her knitting projects. Her genes from her dad's side just must have had some knitters. She is far better than her mother's side!

Addendum to post:

I'll figure the cost of this sweater in keeping with my Bottom Line rule and post it tomorrow. Sorry. Forgot my own rule again.

Gorgeous! I'm planning on making this in forest green, but I do love the natural -- Al is very talented and I can't wait to see it with the buttons;)

That's a wonderful Trellis!

I'm working (well, Waiting in Progress) on a yellow cotton one.

I found your blog via the sky contest :)
